Hey Bellas,
How are you doing today and how was your weekend??
Had a great weekend myself and it looks like its gonna be a beautiful and long week.
I'm currently undergoing thr Certificate in Entrepreneurship Management course by the Enterprise Development Center of the Pan African University(thats a long one)...so i might not be able to do much blog-wise..but i just hafta show off my nails.
This week i opted something i have never though of before. As soon as i saw it i painted it on before i could change my mind....here goes
| Circus |
| Electric Blue |
So used different color combinations on both hands. On my left fingers i painted all bright colors and on my right I did an electric blue shade. I call my right hand my official hand which I use to shake and hold stuff(brushes, microphone and stuff), so I made my right just one color.
The colors on my left fingers was inspired my a picture i saw with my friend and client Ameerah Abraham of The Nail Bar. Colors used from my thumb are: Hot Pink, Red, Yellow, Lilac and Pale Orange. These nail polishes are from my personal collection and all their names have been cleaned off. You can visit The Nail Bar for vareity of colors. I'll be doing a post on the bar very soon, so watch out!!

I know it could be alot to pull off the circus but i hope the colors inspire you for you next nail colors.

Hiya,
So today is my mom's birthday and I want to dedicate a post specially for her.
Her name is Mrs. Omobolanle Odujole(nee Yusuf). She's the bestest person I know in this world(I know everyone says so about their moms) but seriously mine is incredible.
She's been my single inspiration for becoming a makeup artist. Growing up I saw a picture of her looking so glam and all dolled up and I remember trying recreate that look using water color.
My mom is one of the strongest women I know, she's compassionate and knows how to be a friend, sister and a mother.

I remember her little of her flogging me while growing up but I remember so much of her hugs, kisses and laughter. Over the years she's lost so much, but she's remained strong and determined.
My mom taught me the fundamentals of hardwork "a woman must never be idle". Always thriving as the "neck" of the family.
She's beautiful, she's young, she's virtuous, she's unique, she's my MOM!!!
I love you mum!!!
Happy Birthday

Hey Bellas,
Sorry I dropped off earth for a bit. Had to regroup the tiny tweezers in my brain. OMG..been getting 'demands' to complete my last post.
So y'all know all the things I used(products) and what I didn't use(makeup). After my stint using SebaMed (which didn't work).
Some dude walked into my studio selling Tianshi products(I know y'all know them!!) And I bluffed him cos I wasn't interested. He kept trying to market me some heart drugs and stuff(like seriously). Then he brought out this soap 'Tiens Honey and Lemon Soap"--smells nothing honey-ist or lemon-ish instead smells soda-ish.
Neways after staring at the soap in my studio for about a week, I decided to take the bold step and try it!!(after all,I've tried every other thing). And voila!!!...all breakouts disappeared! I can't remember the last time my face was totally breakout free(yeah! I can't).
Basically, I use it for just my face and use another soap as my all-over body soap. Only things I don't like is the smell(getting used to it though) and it leaves my skin sorta dry(nothing that moisturiser cannot solve).
Been looking for a picture of the soap(..and also the guy that sold it to me). As soon as I get it, I'll update this post with pictures!!!
Muchos love!!

Bellas,
Acne/Pimple, is one thing we ladies struggle with over and over again. Sometimes it comes due to diet change, increase in stress levels, period cycle, routine change, dirty makeup tool(ahn ahn)...and so many more.
Acne/Pimple, is one thing we ladies struggle with over and over again. Sometimes it comes due to diet change, increase in stress levels, period cycle, routine change, dirty makeup tool(ahn ahn)...and so many more.
Last month, i had breakout on my cheeks and forehead. And believe me, i was so worried cos i didn't change my routine, no new product, and the pimples were everywhere!!! I'm very careful and minimal concerning products that i use on my face. I don't try everything i see/hear of, i do a lot of research still with fear in mind though.
Thus, my journey to an answer/cure began. I visited a dermatologist who recommended a pimple removal system "Retin-A Cream" which i had to use directly on affected areas alone once daily(only at night). To me, it smells like rotten butter, but it worked som magic. However, a few days after i used it, i realized that my skin was peeling on areas i used it on.

During this time i was using Neutrogena Cleansing soap and Neutrogena (Oil Free) Acne Stress Control Wash, which i had to discontinue cos i felt it was making my skin worse.

Hmmm...i also used SebaMed cleansing bar and also got the same drying effect as the Retin A cream, I tried getting the cleanser, scrub and toner so i could have the full range of SebaMed products...

Bellas,
How are you doing this wonderful day?? I do hope despite the weather you're still looking gorge!!!
Sometime last year i did a post on my everyday look, which consisted of using simply liner and lipgloss....you can view that post here. Well, this year i upgraded the look to be more in sync with the new colored liner trend.
Colored liner is the new look everywhere, you have looks withe purple, green, blue, copper and of course black. The colored liner adds more color and spark to your look and even with no eyeshadow you'll look glam.
The look is very simple and the high point is lining the eyes. You can do this look even in a car(please do be careful).
Bellas,
Its your lucky day, cos i'm doing multiple posts....
In my previous post i mentioned how my weekend was overbooked...one of the makeovers i did was that of a favorite person of mine and she also follows by blog. Her name is Mobola, she had her party on Saturday (which i missed by the way) and i invited her over for a Bellezza Makeover.
Needless to say, she was overwhelmed and excited about her look..so much so i was status message on BBM for a while...
Enjoy her transformation!!!

Unfotunately, because i was in a rush, i didn't take a before picture.
Well, she had fun at her party and her makeup remained awesome afterwards!!!
So dear reader/follower, whenever you wanna rock a party(yours or anyone's) and you need a look to knock'em dead!...holler at your gurl...
Hey Bellas,
How was your weekend? Hope it rocked...unlike mine which was work all through...missed a party dropped by one, had a some clients and also had makeup seminars to teach...wheew!!! It was a long one...shouting out to my new brides and students and also a big hug to Hadizah Musa of Khuraira Cosmetics(she's probably home resting after the seminar we had yesterday).
Also wanna wish my friend and fellow MUA Olajide Okerayi of St.Ola Studio Effects a Happy Belated birthday (still taking your word on the Yahuza suya)...
Okay on to today's business....its my first time putting up a post on my nail of the day. I usually just have my nails done/painted at the salon but i just got a nail technician at my studio, so i'm pulling all the stops and having mine done whenever i feel the need to.
I just took of a deep purple nail polish and again opted for a pinkish/purple nail color again(i love love love purple!!!)...My nail technician (Micheal) is Togolese and is some perfectionist..it took me 30mins to get my nails cleaned and painted to his satisfaction. the nail polish is from my personal collection and i have no idea of the name/brand, but you can get a close shade when next you go shopping....
Enough talk!!
