I know its been a minute and I really have no excuse save for the fact that I've just been having a small phase of writers' block which thankfully is over. With the postponement of elections and that putting a clog in some of my plans for a few weeks...it really had me aiming for someone's jugular....like I said I'm fine now.
So my birthday was a few days ago and even though I knew I was going to be out of town on a work trip, I still decided to have my birthday shoot, you know as a reminder of I don't know, something. I got my friend and ace photographer Lemmy of Lemmy Vedutti Studios to help with professional pictures, but I got pictures first before the shoot. Check out pictures from the shoot here.
I also decided to review the Too Faced Cat Eyes palette on myself (I've used it on clients). I was going for a pinup inspired look; without the red lip and a little darker with the eyes. I'm totally in love the palette, check out my review here.

I've got so much to be thankful for and this week just crowns up a lot more.
Today I'm reviewing a super amazing product that
I've had for a couple of months now and I must say its review is long over due
as you'll be able to tell by the manicure I have on in the pictures. I'll be
reviewing the Motives Mavens Sculpt palette by Loren Ridinger. Its definitely
not the first time I'll have Motives Cosmetics on my blog y'all know I love
their products so much!!!

It’s been a
while since my last post, I've been up to my neck with work and while it’s been
very stressful (I broke down for a couple of days), it’s been also very

I've got a couple
of reviews to share, but I thought to quickly put down the look I had on for
Independence Day (better late than never). I also paired my look with matching

The weekend is finally here and
its time to let down your hair and hang out with friends and let the stress of
the past week find its way to the archives of the past 9honestly, I don’t know
where that came from). In my last post I mentioned that I had a special collab
with Omosalewa that is just the right amount of perfection for this weekend.

some of the products, I thought to let you know my thoughts on the products,
packaging and if I think it’s an investment.
Happy New Month!!! The month of
September, couldn’t be starting on a better not for me!!! I arrived at the
office this morning with a package waiting for me. I was so excited (I’ve been
waiting for my handbags from Asos). Looking at the cardboard box, I couldn’t
imagine what it could be.
