I've been gone for so long, I have so much to share with you!!!---events, makeovers, weddings and so much more!!! Its been crazy busy for me these past few weeks and I miss my former mundane activities like brushing my teeth, sweeping the floor--you know, those kind of stuff.

bubble. As you know, it’s the busiest season of the year, with weddings and
training; I've basically up to my neck with work (not that I’m not loving it).

It’s been a
while since my last post, I've been up to my neck with work and while it’s been
very stressful (I broke down for a couple of days), it’s been also very
rewarding. Watch this space for my good news coming really soon.
I've got a couple
of reviews to share, but I thought to quickly put down the look I had on for
Independence Day (better late than never). I also paired my look with matching
nails, so look out for the follow-up NOTD post.

So in my last haul from AMUF 3, I got this StudioMakeup Nudes palette with comes with its own lip and eye primer. I've been very partial with this palette since I got it because I'm totally loving nudes at the moment.

In my last post, I mentioned that I had a couple of FOTDs that went MIA. I'm keeping to my promise to upload them before the new FOTDS start rolling in.
I got inspiration for this look from my new Revlon eyeshadow quad, it has 4 shades of vibrant gold and they are so pigmented, they last all day!!! For this look, I decided to smoke it up a bit by adding black eyeshadow at the tail end of my eye.

So its no longer news that makeup giant MAC cosmetics has finally opened in our own Lagos, Nigeria. Personally, I'm excited cos it will put an end to "I bought it from MAC shop UK/US/Dubai/Slovenia" I ever so often hear from some ladies---now you can just say "I bought in Ikeja"!!!

How are you doing?? I hope you enjoyed your week and hope you’re gearing up for the weekend? It’s been a lovely week for me and I’m looking forward to a busy weekend ahead with a wedding and a seminar…I know I’m gonna have a great weekend…at least one for the books.
Omigosh!!!I've been away for so long I don't even know where to start from.
I missed my birthday blog cos I had events line up that week.
Guess y'all remember The Avalanche??(I did their makeup for the concert in November). Well, they are back on my blog as I again did their makeup for the Carol Service that held on the 14th December, 2011.
I've been around the country these past couple of weeks and it’s really been fun (plus jet lag...lol).
24th December: I was first in Lagos (where I fell ill) and then left for Ibadan for a pre-booked event that consisted of engagement and bridal makeup on the same day!!!
25th December: Christmas day saw me chilling at with my family (my grandma included). I had a fab pink/blue gown matched with my hot pink lipstick and shoes!! Later in the evening, painted Lagos purple on a night out with my sister and fabulous friends!!
26th December (best day ever!!): Was at my high school reunion at Elegushi beach. It was the highest point of the holidays for me. I was folks I haven't seen since forever (9yrs to be exact). I had mad/crazy fun though had to leave early as I'm not a fan of Lagos traffic. My day was almost marred by a defiant wisdom tooth that caused my jaw to swell (muchos pain!!!).
Makeup artists in the beautiful city of Lagos had a meet on the 27th (though I was unavoidably absent) but from what I gathered I missed a lot!! Thus I geared my Abuja makeup artist to prepare for our meet which should come up in January---we are so ready to part-ey!!!
I left Lagos on the 29th for the serene (network defiant) Anambra state for the traditional wedding of a client (Uju and Uba). At the airport I met my all time favorite makeup guru Banke Meshida Lawal. I was so flushed meeting her and of course she recognized me as the winner of the Sacred Creative Makeup Artistry Competition!! During my visit to the state, I understood why the Igbo people of Nigeria always run back to the village for festivities; the air was as clear as day. It was a far cry from the smokey and hazey fumes of Lagos.
I left Anambra on the 31st (boy!!! Was I glad to have network on my phone)
On the 1st I was n the busy city of Umuahia in Abia state. Not only was I working (also a traditional wedding) but I was also stargazing because I had the privilege to work with wife of award winning music producer/ songbird Justice Martins (aka J.Martins). I was the official makeup artist for the event and I also mingled with the stars of the Nigerian music industry.
I got back home (my beautiful city of Abuja) on Tuesday 3rd January and work continued in earnest.
So far I can say I had a wonderful holiday despite and in spite of all the work I had…..I had a blast!!! Watch out for the pictures
I know that its very late...but i had to talk about it(MI)....and i'm like reminiscing about 2009!!!
My birthday which took place on the 12th December was probably the most blissful day of the year 2009....it was kinda sad at first but i got a grip of myself and had a blast!!!
I could not sleep the night before..cos i was excited bout everything...my day started at about 6am cos i had to go to Kubwa for an interview for Shop Nigeria...it was successful in that i had fun while i as been asked all the questions..however i had fun you know with the battle of words..i was tense at the beginning....
After the interview i got back home and had a shower then headed to the studio for a personal photo shoot...it was fun cos me and the photographer are tight and so i had the best poses and i was so happy(you know how it is)...
While i was at the studio..some of my friends called me and wanted to join me at the studio so i called them over and we had a blast!!
Afterwards we headed to the sharwama shack in Drumstix...we had all the sharwama we could have and of course my favorite drink!!!
Later that evening...a couple of my friends and I headed to the Wine Shop in Wuse 2...i had like 2 glasses of red wine and i was stomped!!!..from there we headed to the Star Mega Fest show featuring Ludacris, Busta Ryhmes and of course my sweetheart M.I.
I left the show at about 3am and slept off the booze and fun....all in all it was my birthday...and i had fun!!!
