Hola Bellas,
I can't believe that this is officially my first manicure post for this year, considering that my nails have been behaving and has grown an inch--shame on me.
Holla Bellas,
Its here finally!!! Its Valentine's day--the day of love!!! I think February 14th is definitely a day most people look forward to asides their birthdays, Christmas and a few other celebrations. To all the lovers out there, here's a beautiful shout out to y'all and to my darling reader...I love you loads!!!
I got so many requests for a look for valentine day, so I decided to create a look that would be wearable not withstanding the outfit, I had so much fun creating this look; I didn't realize until I saw the pictures and I can't wait to see pictures of yours!!!
Hola Bellas,
How have you been?? Again I have no excuse on my recent hiatus-- I could just say work--been commuting between Lagos and Abuja in the last 2 weeks. I must say I really do doff my hats to Lagosians; the heat in Lagos cannot be compared with anywhere else.
I wanted to start off the year with a look, but been having a couple of bad hair days so that will have to wait. In my last NOTD, I had a spree at The Nail Bar, Abuja. During my Christmas vacay in Lagos I came across a cracked nail polish, so here is a sequel to my last NOTD. I actually got to colors
- Milani Nail Lacquer on Ruby Jewels
- Crackled Glaze in Cracked Medalliom
Seeing that I've had my acrylic nails since December 2012, I had it filled and opted to paint them myself. it was easy as pie and the outcome was gorgeous. Enjoy the pictures!!!
Hey
Bellas,
How
are you doing? How’s your day going?? I hope it’s going great!! I'm so loving this post title...lol
I
had another photoshoot with my darling friend and co-entrepreneur Jameelah Audu
for her bespoke Abbayah collection. In case you missed my post on my last
photoshoot with Rabesque Designs, click here to refresh yourself.
So
Jamie moved from just importing Abbayahs to actually designing the outfits
herself and this time I must say I died, went to heaven and came back; cos
these designs are truly heavenly and amazing. It’s so hard to imagine that it
was all designed by Jamie but believe me she did.
Hey Bellas,
How are you doing today, I hope so far you've been having a wonderful week. My week has been wonderful and I pray it stays so for the rest of the week.
Today I had a photoshoot the the most amazing ladies I've met so far in the city of Abuja and just couldn't wait to do a post about it. The shoot was for an amazing lady called Jameela Audu of Rabesque Designs who makes and sells the most amazing arabian/indian wears (Jalabia) I've ever seen.
So my friend Desola calls me and hooks me up with Jameela for a photoshoot for her new collection of amazing(I know I say that a lot) dresses. Desola is someone I find it hard to say NO to, so despite the short notice and the fact that she's been talking non-stop about amazing fab Dolapo the MUA. The shoot was slated for 12:30pm and the look was the classic smokey eye paired with both nude (first look) and pin-up red lips(second look).
I had an amazing time working with the models as they made makeup so easy and they didn't have any fuss around them. Also had the opportunity to work with the second female photographer I've ever been in contact with, Saude Sani of Memoirre Visuelle Studios. The venue was Greenland Park, Maitama Sule Street, Asokoro, the atmosphere was cool and the company was awesome.
Now, let the pictures speak!!!
