Hey
Bellas,
How
are you?? And how's your week going?? Mine is looking to be a very busy one.
I've
had a couple of events in the past weeks and one of the events was the Most
Beautiful Girl (MBGA) pageant crowning Miss Abuja. I wasn't there as an official
makeup artist; one of the girls (Miss Zuba) asked me to do her makeup and I
obliged her to airbrush makeup (don't ask me if she won yet).
So
I was backstage with makeup artists, designers, the press and long legged
skinny girls (not that I'm complaining). I had a great time though Nigerian
timing at these event sucks...I didn't get home till 2am!!!
Here
are pictures from my lounging backstage...enjoy!!!

Hey
Bellas,
In my last post on my most recent photoshoot with Rabesque Design I talked breifely about sweet Kingi who designed the bejeweled handmade accessories the models were clutching. Kingi’s line is called Kanem Designs and the line features unique handcrafted accessories such as ipad covers, cheque book covers and makeup purses with Ankara, gemstones and Swarovski stones.
How
are you doing?? Guess you’ve been having an awesome week. Mine has so far been
great!!!

Hey
Bellas,
How
are you doing? How’s your day going?? I hope it’s going great!! I'm so loving this post title...lol
I
had another photoshoot with my darling friend and co-entrepreneur Jameelah Audu
for her bespoke Abbayah collection. In case you missed my post on my last
photoshoot with Rabesque Designs, click here to refresh yourself.
So
Jamie moved from just importing Abbayahs to actually designing the outfits
herself and this time I must say I died, went to heaven and came back; cos
these designs are truly heavenly and amazing. It’s so hard to imagine that it
was all designed by Jamie but believe me she did.
Hey
Bellas,
How
are you doing/ trust you’ve been great!! I just got a couple of MAC lippies
I’ve been waiting and dying to get and just couldn’t wait to show you the
swatches.
Rewind
back a few months ago whilst in business school, a pretty soft spoken scholar
colleague came to class with this gorgeous shade of pink lippie and the makeup
artist in me just couldn’t concentrate…I just had to have that lip color. So I
sit with her and question her like the FBI would and she tells me it a MAC satin
lipstick shade in the Nicki Minaj Collection called Viva Glam Nicki (you should know that I’m definitely not a Nicki
Minaj fan).

Hey Bellas,
How are you
doing and how have you been?? Yeah…I know I dropped off for a bit, but I think
I’m back now for good.
So a few
weeks back The Fusion Wedding Fair held in Abuja at the prestigious BMO Arena,
Wuse 2. And Bellezza Faces had a booth at the fair. It was a lovely event set
up like a real wedding. There were event planners, caterers, makeup artists and
all the vendors needed for a dream wedding.
Personally,
I enjoyed when the giveaways were given to brides-to-be at the fair and of
course I got to mingle with a few friends and vendors.
Didn't get
much pictures with my camera but I did try…enjoy the pictures!!!

Hullo
Bellas,
How are you
doing and how has your week been so far?? Mine had been one of kind trying to
make up for lost time and gearing up for Bellezza Anniversary in
October---yipee!!! Bellezza Faces is 4yrs!!!
To celebrate
Bellezza Anniversary I’ll be giving out free makeup products, photoshoots and a
few people will get to be part of our DIY makeup classes for free—so watch this
space!!!
So, the
color orange has been making waves in the beauty industry and has been named
the color of the yea….during my last trip to Lagos while hanging out with my
super diva newly married friend Yemisi Seriki of N’sure Beauty, I tried out an
orange lipstick at the Casabella store in Shoprite, Ikeja and I must say it was
love at first sight.
I have a
couple of orange lipsticks but I had actually never tried them…so when I got
back to Abuja I got busy with my orange collection. I’m talking shadows,
lipsticks, glosses and blush.
I’m already
planning an orange themed photoshoot and
should have that rolled out her pretty soon…for now enjoy my orange lipstick
madness!!!
Hey Bellas,
How have you been?? Hope you had a fun October 1st like i did....I had crazy, out-of-the-box-fun and got my adrenaline shot for the week!!!
So I've had the posy in the offing for about 2weeks but thanks to my service provider its better late than never. This look was inspired by dear and darling Lola Maja of Sacred Beauty. She had a cat-liner look at the AMUF event in Lagos. So I recreated my own version of her look.
