Its been a while since I last posted about my nails which I must say have grown so long, but I've just been so lazy about nail posts. Again, since I'm learning fantastic new ways to take pictures with Tashia; I've turn over a new leaf.

Hope you had amazing Easter?? I missed my special Easter lunch that we had been calculating all through March simply because we didn't stock up on the major things we needed for the meal which resulted in having Maxims Chinese and Chicken wings as our special Easter meal, not complaining though I enjoyed every single prawn in my meal.

I can't believe that this is officially my first manicure post for this year, considering that my nails have been behaving and has grown an inch--shame on me.

Hope you're having a fabulous day so far, I can't wait for mine to come to a glorious end (a bit too dramatic, I know). Its been one meeting or the other for me **whew**

How have you been?? Again I have no excuse on my recent hiatus-- I could just say work--been commuting between Lagos and Abuja in the last 2 weeks. I must say I really do doff my hats to Lagosians; the heat in Lagos cannot be compared with anywhere else.

I wanted to start off the year with a look, but been having a couple of bad hair days so that will have to wait. In my last NOTD, I had a spree at The Nail Bar, Abuja. During my Christmas vacay in Lagos I came across a cracked nail polish, so here is a sequel to my last NOTD. I actually got to colors

Seeing that I've had my acrylic nails since December 2012, I had it filled and opted to paint them myself. it was easy as pie and the outcome was gorgeous. Enjoy the pictures!!!

It was my birthday a couple of days ago and before I could catch a breather I was off to Kano  the day after my birthday. For my birthday I treated myself to a mani-pedi at The Nail Bar--my very first visit as a client. I got my nails fixed and painted.

So..contrary to all my busy busy plans this week, I've been sentenced to a one week compulsory bed rest..so right now it sucks to be me. To make matters worse getting internet connection is proving difficult. So i took a shot and i'm smiling hard at myself in the cafe.

How are you doing today and how was your weekend??

Had a great weekend myself and it looks like its gonna be a beautiful and long week.

I'm currently undergoing thr Certificate in Entrepreneurship Management course by the Enterprise Development Center of the Pan African University(thats a long one)...so i might not be able to do much blog-wise..but i just hafta show off my nails.

This week i opted something i have never though of before. As soon as i saw it i painted it on before i could change my mind....here goes

So  used different color combinations on both hands. On my left fingers i painted all bright colors and on my right I did an electric blue shade. I call my right hand my official hand which I use to shake and hold stuff(brushes,microphone and stuff), so I made my right just one color.

The colors on my left fingers was inspired my a picture i saw with my friend and client Ameerah Abraham of The Nail Bar. Colors used from my thumb are: Hot Pink, Red, Yellow, Lilac and Pale Orange. These nail polishes are from my personal collection and all their names have been cleaned off. You can visit The Nail Bar for vareity of colors. I'll be doing a post on the bar very soon, so watch out!!

I know it could be alot to pull off the circus but i hope the colors inspire you for you next nail colors.

How was your weekend? Hope it rocked...unlike mine which was work all through...missed a party dropped by one, had a some clients and also had makeup seminars to teach...wheew!!! It was a long one...shouting out to my new brides and students and also a big hug to Hadizah Musa of Khuraira Cosmetics(she's probably home resting after the seminar we had yesterday).

Okay on to today's business....its my first time putting up a post on my nail of the day. I usually just have my nails done/painted at the salon but i just got a nail technician at my studio, so i'm pulling all the stops and having mine done whenever i feel the need to.

I just took of a deep purple nail polish and again opted for a pinkish/purple nail color again(i love love love purple!!!)...My nail technician (Micheal) is Togolese and is some perfectionist..it took me 30mins to get my nails cleaned and painted to his satisfaction. the nail polish is from my personal collection and i have no idea of the name/brand, but you can get a close shade when next you go shopping....
