I know its been a minute and I really have no excuse save for the fact that I've just been having a small phase of writers' block which thankfully is over. With the postponement of elections and that putting a clog in some of my plans for a few weeks...it really had me aiming for someone's jugular....like I said I'm fine now.

I got a couple of mails regarding my last Valentine's day inspired looks and a few requests to do something more natural toned for an evening out..hence this follow up post.

Its mid week already---yippee!!! The weekend is almost here and for so odd reason I'm so excited, blame it on a really slow week. I'm going to the movies later today and decided to beat my face up and do a look to inspire you for valentines day, even though we will be voting on 14th February; but I'm guessing y'all will have plans for later.

I wanted to use any color other than purple, but I just couldn't help it and kept steering back to my purple glitter. I look how the look came together so much so I'm so eager to share. I hope you enjoy creating as much as I enjoyed working on it..

Hope you are having an amazing day?? So I decided to post this on quickly before I loose any nerve and chicken out on posting this look. There's just something with me and vampy lips, its not that I don't feel bold enough to wear it, I just feel weird when I have really bold lips on. I also paired this look today with a review of some of the makeup tools I got recently and decided to take pictures while using them.

I promised to post details of this look, a while back and I know its taken a while but its better late than never. It was afun creating this look, as I had to choose what colors to play with and also made the bold step to make my brows thinner than I normally trim them, I must say I was really scared as I haven't had thin brows in a long time ( even then it wasn't on purpose), I love how it came out though.

I've been itching to post about all the product I was finally able to get while I was away (well, I didn't get everything). Imagine, I didn't even shop to restock on items at the studio; I just figured I try them out first and give you the low down, before I start bulk ordering.

So I was sent this goody bag a couple of weeks ago; right after the New York Fashion Week, but I only got it a few days ago. Thanks to my sister who received the bag on my behalf and had to haul it halfway around Nigeria before it got to me. It was essentially a Thank you gift from Maybelline New York Nigeria, since I partnered in the social media buzz of the NYFW that featured Bimpe Onakoya backstage as one of the artists for Maybelline.

Hope you're having a fun, stress-free week? My workful weekend starts today as I have an event up North in Gusau, Zamfara state (I covet you prayers). I'm looking forward to making my bride look flawless for her multiple events. I love Hausa weddings!!!

This look is sort of neutral/bridal depending on your personality and I added a twist using white eyeliner. I also used a couple of new items I got to review. Its a really simple look; I had it down in 15mins and another 15mins taking pictures....lol

I had a splendid Valentine's day; had a dinner organized for workers in my church and it was amazing!!! It was the 15th anniversary of my church; and a very delightful event. Look out for pictures and also for the makeup I had on for dinner.

Its here finally!!! Its Valentine's day--the day of love!!! I think February 14th is definitely a day most people look forward to asides their birthdays, Christmas and a few other celebrations. I got so many requests for a look for valentine day, so I decided to create a look that would be wearable not withstanding the outfit, I had so much fun creating this look; I didn't realize until I saw the pictures and I can't wait to see pictures of yours!!!
