Hope you had a fulfilling week? I'm finally back home after the northern wedding I told you about last week. It was an amazing success and I just glad to be back in my familiar surroundings...home sweet home.

I created this look a couple of days back and I don't know what inspired the name, but it just popped when I was writing this post.I love smokey eyes!!! It's never wrong!!! unless of course you're only of those chics that just take a blob of eyeshadow smear it on your upper and lower lids and then apply some maroon lipstick...well, apologies---that's just wrong. If done right, smokey eyes could make you absolutely stunning!!!

 A couple of weeks ago I decided to create a feature to share with you makeup artists that inspire me on instagram. I'm on and off on instagram and I consciously set aside a time of the day to post, otherwise I just keep liking pictures and always look for pictures to inspire my next makeup purchase or look.

Very recently I decided to start posting more of my work via my blog (just so y'all don't think I'm self absorbed--lmao!!!).

I usually have quite a number of friends and clients come over to the studio to get the face ready or when my hands get itchy I call up someone to get their face beat up by yours truly.

Hello---I'm Michell

Rewind back a couple of weeks, my friend and photographer Jimi of Les Memoirs photography put together a shoot with amazing Michelle and I was ready to roll. And then I kinda panicked because Michelle is an albino---a flawless one at that. But then I had a couple of ivory and sand Rimmel foundations I've been dying to use on someone!!!
