FOTD: Gold and Copper Autumn Look

5:54 AM

Hola Bellas,

Is it me or does the year seem to be running on rails?? Like the year is ended already and yippee my birthday is getting closer---December babies are weird people---do bear with us.

Somewhere around the world (definitely not my side), the season has changed and it’s Autumn already. And I decided to do a look to celebrate the new season.

I worked with gold, bronze and copper and added a little burgundy and paired it with a dark toned lip. I loved every moment of creating this look and I had people around me wondering what I was up to.

I started by applying NYX Jumbo Pencil all over my eyes, then I contoured the crease of my eyes using Miss Rose Matte E/S in Orange and Plum, then I applied Mary Kay E/S in Amber Blaze which is like a burnt gold shade in the inner corners of my eyes, and then I applied Arike E/S in 005---a lovely coppery shade with a little bit of glitter in it that’s why it’s called Diamond E/S). I followed that with the Arike Burgundy shade to darken the eye look, using a small contour brush I swept the burgundy color into the crease my crease and blended with the Orange and Plum contour and highlighted with Miss Rose Shimmer E/S in Peach. I then applied Jordana Eye Glitz Cream E/S unto my tear duct to add a bit more sparkle. I lined my upper lid with Jordana Liquid Liner and my waterline with Asta Gel Liner in Onyx and applied Ardell 107 falsies to add drama to the look.

I paired the eye look with a semi-goth lip; I believe I went far from my comfort zone with this lip. I started by lining my lips halfway with LA Girl lip liner in Cherry and I applied Wet ‘n’ Wild Matte Lipstick in Cherry Bomb all over my lips, I decided not to apply lipgloss (weird).

For my face, I applied Khuraira Compact Crème Foundation in Soft Rich Bronze and then Milani Mineral Powder in Deep. I contoured my nose using Tara Orekelewa Dual Pressed Powder in #48. I finished the entire look using Fashion Fair Blush in GingerBerry and set my makeup with Motives 10 Years Younger makeup setting mist.

I hope this look inspires you as it has me to step out of my comfort zone every once in a while. For this look, I love the gold glitter in the tear duct as I think it pops the eyes wide open. What do you think of this look? Do leave your comments
