NOTD: DIY Cracked

6:51 AM

Hola Bellas,

How have you been?? Again I have no excuse on my recent hiatus-- I could just say work--been commuting between Lagos and Abuja in the last 2 weeks. I must say I really do doff my hats to Lagosians; the heat in Lagos cannot be compared with anywhere else.

I wanted to start off the year with a look, but been having a couple of bad hair days so that will have to wait. In my last NOTD, I had a spree at The Nail Bar, Abuja. During my Christmas vacay in Lagos I came across a cracked nail polish, so here is a sequel to my last NOTD. I actually got to colors
  • Milani Nail Lacquer on Ruby Jewels
  • Crackled Glaze in Cracked Medalliom

Seeing that I've had my acrylic nails since December 2012, I had it filled and opted to paint them myself. it was easy as pie and the outcome was gorgeous. Enjoy the pictures!!!

Cracked Deuces

Like I said get them look neat is actually pretty easy. The trick is to allow the base coat dry really well, then apply the cracked nail polish atop. Also allow a few minutes for the cracked nail polish to dry before applying the trasnparent nail polish.

P:S To get best results for the cracked apply just one coat to allow the cracked effect come off pretty.
The Cracked nail polish is sold at 1,100 naira while I got the Milani polish for 800 naira both at Casabella in Ikeja City Mall

Hope you get to try it...

Muchos Love,
