So today i had a photo shoot for my portfolio and the theme was High Fashion!!!

I love fashion makeup and also creative makeup stuff, looking through my portfolio i noticed i had basically a bridal portfolio so an upgrade was required.
I enlisted the help of my friends on facebook and of course the response was tremendous!!! I had a total of 6 faces and i can't even remember how many looks i created and non of them was bridal!!! I was both excited and in a frenzy cos i didn't want time to run out without creating the looks i wanted.

The pictures were taken by LAI and MIKE both of Xi Concepts and i just can't wait to see the pictures..both of them were indeed wonderful to work with. A big thanks also to my models and even those who wanted to be models for the shoot...watch out for the next one.

So right now, i'm so tired but i had to put a few words down, also need to rest as its officially my birthday weekend...

I know the title of the post is giving you the creeps...but I'm glad it got your attention!!!
In my last post i told you i worked on 2 looks in one day. So here's the second look.

Also inspired by America's Next Top Model. Its a very smokey eye look(almost burnt..lol).
You know when you google smokey eye makeup and you get this very black shadow eye..well here is my own customized version.

Basically for this look i used only black eyeshadow on my very amiable model  Joke (who else is there??). I also created a double wing liner look..so look out for that!!
I paired the eyes with two lips styles (nude and drama). For the nude i used plain lip gloss while for the dram i used Khuraira lip color in Drama(drama, right??)

So this week I'm on a roll because i finished up 2 posts and 2 looks specially for you.
I guess I'm excited cos my birthday is on Monday(12th December) and I'm especially in a great mood.
I worked on 2 looks today one using white eyeshadow and the other using just black shadow.

I'm a true fan of America's Next Top model and i'm always happy when its makeover(casting week) or picture time. I just love to see the makeup. One of the makeup artist for ANTM is Vincent Oquendo and i think he is just a genius!!! If you know Tyra Banks or have happened to hear about her most important makeup item, you'll know she can't do without a white eyeliner. I use the white eyeliner a couple of times and truth be told its a perfect eye-popper!!!

In this look i used a chalk white eyeshadow although i used a generous amount of white eyeshadow primer. i also have a video on this look and hope to have it edited pretty soon...basically i did a lot of blending and of course a very willing Joke (my sales assistant).

I love using Joke has my model, her facial structure is very strong; for this look i contoured and highlighted using and earth color from the Lise 88 palette and using Khuraira Bronzing powder. I finished the look off by pairing with nude lips as seen on ANTM..

I know i promised you new posts in my last post, i've been helluva busy all through this week and what more, I still don't get enough sleep.

This weekend has been very hectic for me. First I had an interview at the Enterprise Development Center here in Abuja and then i have a bridal makeup to do by 4pm. And also i have to attend a bridal shower at that same time...whew!!!!

Alos this weekend i entered for the Sacred Creative Artsitry Competition and this month, the theme was Bridal Glamor(my forte. I was confused on which picture to submit seeing that i have loads of the so i opted for the one first one(Desola).

With the turn of the weather in Abuja, its really important to pay careful attention to the effect of this change on the skin especially the face (put you face forward-BM PRO).

Personally, I have a combination skin which tends to get dry at night and this dryness has been causing my face to peel. I decided to change my routine (just a little bit) to get rid of the dryness.

Usually, all i do is wash my face before i go to bed at night. but in the past few weeks i started topping it by using shea butter on my face (just a little bit), and the change has been OMG awesome!!!


If you have dry skin, you might want to dump your moisturizer for the time being and use this routine at night and also in the morning just before you use your makeup.

PS: Try not to blob the shea butter on your face like you wold use a lotion, take note that its dry but it also melts.
Also, try to get natural shea butter (you can ask your friends down south to help you with that)
Oh..and you can also use shea butter on your hair..its a great conditioner/hair cream.

My cute friend Sylvia came to the studio today for a makeover session with her friend Timi and i was inspired by  the rich yellow tank she was wearing. It was in-your-face yellow and then i offered to do her makeup and voila i used a yellow shadow in my Sleek Circus(limited edition) palette. Enjoy the transformation and find a list of products that i used below....
