Abuja Makeup Fair Season II in Pictures

Holla Bellas,

How are you doing?? How's your week going?? Mine has slowly winded up today and can't wait to flip my brushes this weekend with my impending bride.

The second edition of AMUF held on November 3rd and as usual Pops Concepts went all out; with amazing artists and beauty/makeup vendors. I was on my feet all through with makeovers and product sales at the Khuraira booth. It was an amazing experience-- I got to spend a few hours with my favorite makeup artists Bookie and Jide. I don't know what enjoyed more...gisting and trailing or makovers!!

I finally got pictures of the event via Pops Concepts...if you weren't there---my aim is just to make you jealous and promise yourself not to miss the next one!!!

Enough drama....get jealous!!!

FOTD---Teal Me Pink Matching Look

Hey Bellas,

As follow up to my NOTW-Teal me Pink I had this look on for the Runway Show recently. Though I was backstage, I had every right to look as gorgeous as I looked. I was aiming for a look with red lips(ruby woo style), but I got carried away by my nail polish, hence I couldn't wear my earrings.

Do notice that most of these pictures were taken in a car en route the venue of the show--but I do take good pictures hence no blurry ones!!!

I had this look together in 10mins....if I can do that, anyone can. Enough talk, enjoy the look and find below list of the products I used...

Hey Bellas,

How are you doing? How was your weekend? Mine was very hectic and I'm still sort of hungover with the stress from it. My week is looking to be a short one. I just home I can get some rest before next weekend's drama.

Its been a while since I last posted anything on my nails; just been super busy and by the time my nail polish dries up--I'm somewhere else. I do apologize and hope to keep from here on now.

Since we don't have summer in this part of my world, this nail color was inspired by my wanna be 'summer trend'. I also have a look to go with this polish( wasn't intentional, just flowed into it).

Hey Bellas,

How are you doing? How was your week? I'm so glad the week is over, been having makeup training classes and its been wonderful but stressful all the same. Special shout to the new set of Bellezza students..love you gurls!!!

I'm very picky on products I use on on my skin cos I'm not one for routine. I get bored easily with products especially when I can't see immediate results. I'm also part of the majority that have a combination skin type--oily at the t-zone and dry in some areas; hence I tend to break out very often.

Hey Bellas,

How are you doing? Hope you had a great week? This weekend is looking to be a busy one for me; I'll be backstage at The Runway Abuja getting the models prepped up for the night. I'm looking forward to having a good time backstage(like I always do!!)

This post is inspired my everyday look. I don't wear makeup all day everyday. Sometimes I put on makeup at about 12pm or sometimes I don't even use makeup at all!! I have combination skin and thus I tend to breakout very often. I have a very thorough skincare regimen, so i usually wait till much later after the skincare products might have sunk into my skin; before I use my makeup.

How are you doing?? Hope your week is looking to be a wonderful one. This month of November has to count!!!

It seems almost customary now for me to do a post on my hauls at the Makeup Fair, I always look forward to getting more makeup stuff for personal use and of course for work. The makeup fair is like the best exhibition for all thing makeup cos I know I’m not going there to see designers or event planners…it’s beauty makeup heaven.

My friend/client Ameerah of the Nail Bar is one of the most industrious ladies I know. The Nail Bar if organizing a one day D-I-Y Skincare seminar in Abuja.

HNM--My Thoughts For November

Hey Bellas,

Happy New Month Y'all!!! As we approach the end 2012, I would like to share a few thoughts with my darling readers.

November is the 11th month of the year and its so easy to feel depressed if your plans for the year hasn't worked out. Personally, I work my plans to end in November so that as December approaches, I take time to enjoy the festivities that comes up then.

Bellezza Bride--Nike Gets Hitched!

Hey Bellas,

How are you doing?? And how has you week been?? I'm looking forward to a busy weekend and actually can't wait till next week.

Nike is one of my brides that I worked with recently and didn't meet until the week off her wedding. Her event planner Yinka of Pearl Events, Abuja actually hooked her up the Bellezza way.

Nike wanted her traditional makeup to be "dramatic"...so i hooked her up with a bit of drama with my Milani eyeshadow pencil and MAC Freshwater shadow. Did a little Nicki Minaj on her lips and off she went to get married.
