Haul: Casabella Shadows and Glosses--Pictures and Swatches

How are you doing?? I hope you are having an amazing week?? Mine has been going rather pleasantly--- still so excited about my camera and I’m snapping away at all things makeup.

During my last trip to the apple city of Nigeria (Lagos—a.k.a Lasgidi) I visited Casabella in Shoprite Ikeja (I always go to Casabella when I’m in Lagos). This time around I went with the main purpose of buying Casabella range of makeup products only! I got 2 eyeshadows, 1 loose pigment eyeshadow and 2 lipglosses.

How are you doing??? My week has been pretty hectic, looking forward to a relaxing weekend---not that I’m even getting that but it’s OK for me to dream—wake me up when the week is over.

So I’m back with a new product line and for now I have just the swatches but I must say these products are staying true to its manufacturers claim. A couple of months ago I met Mrs. Gbemisola Adebayo, CEO Hegai and Esther Makeup Solutions---a store located in the heart of Lagos that retails professional makeup supplies; brushes, boxes, disposable applicators, books, CD/DVDs, stools and hygiene products.

Hola Bellas,

I'm not even gonna give any excuse this time around---seems I do that alot. I basically took a break because I didn't have a camera for my FOTDs, NOTDs and HOTWs but everything is about to change!!!!

Yep!!! I got a new camera---finally!!! After weeks and weeks of research, I bought a DSLR camera**drum roll please** I bought a Nikon D3100 and I'm mighty glad I did!!! This baby ain't leaving my sight!!!

FOTD: Valentine 2013

How are you doing?? I'm having one of those days when my fingers and my mind are in sync--hence, I'm doing multiple posts(lol).

Hope you had a love filled Valentines day?? Mine was busy!!! I had a photoshoot, bridal makeover and a dinner for the same day--talk about booked solid!!! The photoshoot started at about 8am took longer then I anticipated, thus my plans for the day went haywire!!!

Every valentine's day my Church celebrates her anniversary with a dinner and so whether or not I have date planned with (any) boo--I always have plans for the day. This year was no different as we decked up ready to celebrate. It was particularly weird for me since I've not celebrated valentines day as a single gal in about 3 or 4 years (did I hear you say OMG!!!). For a look at Valentine 2012 look, click here.

I wore a plush purple dress and had to have amazing makeup to go with the look and of course---my new eyes!!!

FOTD: Smokey Sunshine

How are you doing? Hope you had an awesome day?? Mine was wonderful, had a great time with February students at the studio---those peeps are hilarious---love 'em that-away!!!!

Erm---this is my first official FOTD for 2013(my bad!!!). I guess there was never the perfect time considering that I love my camera during my last trip to Lagos and still tryna make up my mind on the brand and type to get. I took these pictures using a friend's camera--special thanks my sweetheart Joyce--thanks for "borrowing" me your camera.

Today's look was inspired the colors in my sleek sunset palette the sunshine yellow and orange color I hardly ever use. Oh!!! I also gave up my geeky framed for hazel colored contact lenses(got tired of people asking me to give them the frames **tiring**). So, decided to create a smokey look to pop my eyes.

I love the total look and I hope y'all get to try it out--enjoy the pictures!!!

First MAC Masterclass in Nigeria

How are you doing?? Hope you're having a great week!!!! Mine has been awesome!!! Almost forgot that's its valentines week, been so caught up with work...I'm looking forward to doing my first 2013 FOTD on the 14th--I hope that I don't get swamped!!!

So its no longer news that makeup giant MAC cosmetics has finally opened in our own Lagos, Nigeria. Personally, I'm excited cos it will put an end to "I bought it from MAC shop UK/US/Dubai/Slovenia" I ever so often hear from some ladies---now you can just say "I bought in Ikeja"!!!

How are you doing?? Hope y'all have been awesome!!! And hope you also had a great weekend, mine was a blur...passed by before I could even catch my breath!!!

I've been helluva busy for the past couple of weeks. I was in Lagos for a couple of days and I have so much share with you, but first today's post.

I'm a sucker for all things beauty, I shop at every whim and never seem to get enough beauty products. During my last trip to Lagos I exchanged my ATM card for my camera and decided to do a review of some stores where I seem to find most beauty products I "want". Hence, its with great pleasure that I present my very first store review!!!!

Poise is located in the heart of Ikeja City Mall. Poise retails makeup products, skin care products, hair products, perfumes and body mists.

How are you doing?? Hope you're having a great time and not getting bored with my throwbacks?? Throwbacks are meant to make you laugh I hope I'm succeeding to also educate you also.

I did not have a name for this look but it was the first look I did right after I got my Zaron goodie bag last year. I just picked a color from the palette dressed up for school. I really love the lips and the lip color lasted all day (even with my 3 course lunch in school)!!!
