My Birthday at the Orphanage

How are you doing?? I hope your week has been great!!!

I've been helluva busy, owing that everyone seems to be getting married in December, hence duty calls.

My super sweet 26 birthday was yesterday 12-12-12( amazing date, yeah?) and i had so much fun. I've been looking forward to this date since I could read a calendar and count years!!!

At the beginning of the year 2012, my Pastor/Mentor declared that 2012 is a year of making a difference and thus the wheels in my head started spinning...I did a couple of community programs during the year but I also wanted my birthday to be a sort of special CSR. Thus, I planned to spend my birthday in a couple of orphanages. Initially, I wanted it themed with my birth date (12-12-12) i.e. visit 12 orphanages. However, my workload has been crazy hence I started with 2.

I can't imagine what else would have done on my birthday, I had so much fun hanging out with the children at City of Refuge Orphanage, Durumi and Kings and Priests Orphanage Home, Apo. The children were so excited and seeing the smiles on their face is one memory I'll cherish forever!!!
