Pibona Cosmetics Review: Swatches and Looks

Hola Bellas,

How are you doing and how has your week been? I honestly cannot remember details of my weekend, all I remember is the pain in my back and legs--I loved every moment of it though!!!

So last weekend, I got sample products of Pibona cosmetics which I hear has been making waves in Lagos and I must say I'm impressed.

Pibona Cosmetics is the brainchild of Nigerian makeup artist/entrepreneur Princess Ehi Ekhator based in the UK. Pibona is a luxury products for women of all ethnicities and skin tones. The items I got are;
  • Pibona Luxury Matte Lipstick in Gigi
  • Pibona Sheer satin Shadow in Encounter
  • Pibona Mineral and Matte Shadow palette in Duchess (bought)
Matte Lipstick in Gigi
Palette in Duchess
Sheer Silk Eyeshadow in Encounter
Verdict

  • Pibona Luxury Matte Lipstick in Gigi---has a very creamy consistency and not so matte as expected, shade is almost similar to MAC Girl About Town lipstick and lasted the entire evening. Love this prooduct.
  • Pibona Sheer satin Shadow in Encounter--is a dark purple semi shimmery-matte eyeshadow. Can't say I'm a big fan of this shade because I expected more, guess I'm gonna use it as a contour color.
  • I don't like the packaging of these products at all....seems to like it was printed in a hurry and the name on the products had started peeling even whilst in the pouch....ouch!!!
