My 2015 Beauty Resolutions

4:05 AM

Hola Bellas,

Since my last post where I mentioned that I didn't have any set beauty resolutions for 2015, I've had to do a thorough soul searching; I know I definitely ought to drop some habits and pick up new ones. I know its not going to be easy, but no new trend ever is. I didn't have solid resolutions last year, the ones I had; looking back, were sort of on a whim. So I'm hoping that with my written down resolutions I'll be able to achieve more.

So here are my beauty resolutions for 2015;

  • Adopt a daily skincare routine; I'm sort of a tomboy-ish character, I've limited my skincare this past year to using basic soap and my body cream on my face, not that I don't have skincare products. In 2015, I intend to put my face at risk by trying out new skincare products and using the ones I already have which include Selara and Sleek products. I have already started using the Selara ones and would add the Sleek products soon.
  • No more palettes!!! I have over 20 palettes in my possession and I haven't even used up a quarter of the colors. In 2015, my main goal with my palettes is to utilize them more instead of always anticipating the new collection that would be released by makeup brands. I already got one palette already and I've promised not to get any other one. I'm definitely hoping to receive more to review from brands tho...
  • The issue with YouTube; I already set up my room and recording space for my channel and working on the designs and layouts for some things. I had to decide the kind of videos I want to do and I decided to start with talk through videos and then try voice-over videos later. I'll also be doing more reviews and haul videos this year.
  • I've sort of adopted 2015 as 'The Year of The Blog'; 2014 opened up and rounded off as a year partnering with amazing makeup brands and also giving some insights on the Nigerian Beauty market for some brands, so I've resolved to invest more in my blog and make it a haven for both readers and brands that want to push their products to my readers...still giving my honest reviews and opinions.
  • In 2015, I intend to overcome my one makeup fear; vampy lips. In 2014, I did several looks with vampy dark lips but they never made it as a post just because I felt like it wasn't good enough so this year I'm going to try to get comfortable in my vampy skin.
Notice how I'm not overwhelming myself with too many resolutions?? That's because I know that each resolve is going to birth multiple other resolves.

Its going to be a terrific 2015 and I'm so excited that I can't keep calm. I hope this post has inspired you to make new beauty resolves, so what are your 2015 beauty resolutions?? Please share them in  comments below....

Muchos love,
