FOTD: Silver Smokey Eyes with Ombre Orange Lips
5:44 AMHola Bellas,
I know its been a minute and I really have no excuse save for the fact that I've just been having a small phase of writers' block which thankfully is over. With the postponement of elections and that putting a clog in some of my plans for a few weeks...it really had me aiming for someone's jugular....like I said I'm fine now.

After filling the brows with Hegai and Esther brow gel in Nubia, I highlighted using Khuraira Camouflage Concealer in #2B and prepped the entire eyelids with MAC Paint Pot in Painterly and NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk. I contoured the eyes using Orange and Plum colors from the HOT Margaret Ekpo palette; to add warmth to the eye look. From the Motives Baded Mineral Trio in Confifent, I first applied the silver shade to half of my eyelid followed by the grey shade and then black shade; then added Mabrook matte black shadow to the outer corner of the eyes and with a blending brush gently blended the black into my crease. With a small eyeshadow brush, I shaded a line into my crease using black eyeshadow---also making sure to blend.
I line my eyes with Jordana Color Envy Liquid liner---my favorite liquid liner--and applied Bee Lashes in #747M. I also lined my liquid liner using Unveil Makeup Khol pencil in Navy. On my bottom lid, I applied Unveil Makeup eyeshadow in Summer to add a pop of color to the entire look
My face routine stays the same by priming with Maybelline New Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser before applying Mary Kay medium Coverage foundation in Bronze 600 with the Lait Essentiel Pro blending brush. I proceeded with my highlighting process using LA Girl Pro Conceal HD concealer in Fawn to highlight under my eyes, nose bridge, chin and forehead; blending out with a damp beauty blender and I set it with Ben Nye Banana powder. To contour, I used a brown toned eyeshadow from the Zaron Nude It All palette on the sides of my nose, hollows of my cheeks, jawline and temple with the Bolwin contour brush. With a large fluffy brush, I blended out the highlight and contour lines using Milani Mineral Powder in Warm.

I feel weird with one shade if lip color, that's why I tend to ombre my lips most times; with this orange I think is just wowed the entire look. I filled the entire lips using the Unveil pencil in Deep Coral and followed with a generous amount of lipstick in Kiss and Tell and created the ombre by applying Sleek pout paint in Cloud---you know I swear by this product for all things ombre.
I had mixed feelings with creating this look because I was using new products and I'm excited it turned out beautifully...what do you think the look, especially the lips?? Please leave your comments below.
