Bellezza Faces+ OluMakeover presents Pretty Me Pink

11:18 AM

Hola Bellas,

How have you been?? Hope you had an awesome October?? Mine was magical!!! I thank God for His blessings and opportunities that opened up for me and my business and believe me: I can’t wait for November because it promises to be one to remember!!!
So, to round up this month and to honor October as Breast Cancer awareness month, my friend and beauty blogger Salewa of OluMakeovers decided on another collaboration and this time we chose a look to celebrate…PINK!!!

For my look; I paired my pink toned eyes with pink lips also pink lips. I loved every moment of putting this look together because I feel really girly and maybe a little flirty *wink*wink*

I began by priming my entire lid with UDPP and then contoured my crease using Plum from my Motives palette. I applied Arike #01 eyeshadow which is a shimmery light pink shade to the inner corner of my eyes then I applied the shimmer dark pink from the Zaron Duo, I then applied Arike #1 eyeshadow which is a hot pink matte shadow; I applied this as a transition color right in between the first two. I then applied Arike burgundy eyeshadow at the outer corners of my eyes and blended in to my crease using a fluffy blending brush. I highlighted my brows with a gorgeous peach shadow from my Miss Ross palette (which is amazing by the way) and lined my lid with Motives liquid liner. I first though of using tones of silver and pink for this look then opted to liner my waterline with Davis Jumbo pencil in Silver. I applied Zaron mascara on my lower and upper lashes and topped the look with my favorite lashes Kiss 09.

For my lips, I had a lot of fun creating the look I wanted, I didn't want to use a pink lip color straight out of a tube, so I woke the painter in me up and mixed colors. I filled in my entire lip using a wine colored pencil and followed that with Sleek lipstick in Berry, I then applied Sleek Pout Paint in cloud into the pot of my lips (using a brush) and worked on creating a pretty pink shade and I really love the way it turned out, to finish up I added my faithful Maybelline gloss.

I followed my usual foundation routine and contoured with L’Oreal Duo in Shady. I applied my blush and I was ready for my mini photoshoot.

Thank you so much for stopping and do check out Salewa’s post, click here.

I know this look is fun and fresh, but please don’t forget the reason why this look was inspired; remember to do regular breast examinations to detect any lump or unusual pain in your breasts, remember early detection is key!!!

Look out for more fun looks and collabs in the month of November, what are your expectations? Have a wonderful new month ahead!!!

Till my next post

Muchos love,
