Backstage at Music Meets Runway(MMR)

Happy New Year!!!! I'm so hoping that my excitement and my next couple of posts will urge you to forgive me for being MIA for the past couple of weeks.
I was in the city of Lagos to spend Christmas with my family; one word to summarize the whole trip? FUN!!! I had such a good time in Lagos...hmm exclude traffic, no power and a few people getting on my raw nerves. I have a backlog of posts from 2012 and I'm just gonna use a few days to get it over with :D
A couple of post back, I mentioned that I would be backstage at the MMR with the MUD cosmetics team and indeed I was. The event which was star packed featured some awesome (and not so awesome) designs on the runway.
I'm just gonna go ahead and let you ogle at what went on behind and in from of the scenes!!!!

The look for the night was determined by what the designers wanted and majored between smokey eyes paired with nude and red lips.

The event was hosted by Tanzanian supermodel Milen and music artist D'banj and I must say their combination is amazing!!! Personally, I'll give kudos to Milen cos she definitely was as Nigerian we come.
