Update Post: Setting Things Straight

Its been a couple of days since I dropped the bomb on the change--I promised to do a post about how it all happened an what brought it about the sudden change; I figured starting out on my blog would be the first place to set things straight.
First you should know that I wasn't bullied by anyone into changing my name. Changing a name that I've used for the past few years was probably one of the hardest decisions I've had to make; it took praying for direction and several meetings to arrive here and choosing a new name wasn't even a piece of cake!!! I have new found respect for brand and image consultants.
"Bellezza" is Spanish and Italian for beauty or beautiful, and in some ways I now realize that it came to me as easily and lazily as it might have for some other people who decided to use that as their business name. Till date I've come across about 6-8 business that use Bellezza for business; I don't have anything against anyone, their business or their names but for anyone starting a business or wanting to rebrand I'll suggest that if you know that any one has or business with the same services your render shares a name remotely similar to yours----please don't use it!!!
We (my team of boo, sisters, consultant and anyone I could talk to) spent about 2 months coming up with a new name and believe me, it wasn't easy but honestly I'm in a place where I say to myself "Its done!!!" If you are thinking of taking a similar step, don't do it alone and most importantly do it with people you trust and also trust God and yourself!!!
