First Impressions and Review Pibona Cosmetics
9:33 AMHey Pretties,
I'm back with another first impressions and review post, this time a proudly Nigerian brand and one I have reviewed before. I was so impressed when I was told that the brand worked on a couple of suggestions I made in that post which obviously made me want to try the new products. Check out my earlier review here.
Pibona Cosmetics is owned by now Nigerian based Princess: who has moved back from the UK to grow her beauty brand. She called me a few weeks ago to re-introduce me to the brand and so we arranged a meeting and talked about the brand change (hers and mine) and I must say I definitely love the new white and black packaging.
The new packaging is definitely impressive, but the formulation is definitely better!!! I love the white and black with the wispy touch of pink, the products that I got include
- Pibona Luxury Contour Powder Duo in First Crush
- Pibona 100% Siberian Mink Lashes
- Pibona Luxury Blush
- Pibona Shadow Magnet in Natural
- Pibona Luxury Matte Lipstick in Marilyn
- Pibona Superwear Gel Liner Pencil in Black (not pictured)
I'm so addicted to using the Contour Duo--especially as blush, the pink toned color add a fresh pop to any look with a hint of shimmer while the other shade gives a more earth toned flush of color to the face.
I need to dedicate a photo spread to these lashes...they are absolutely amazing. The 100% Siberian mink lashes look very deceptive in the package---at first I thought these are so long!!! But when I had them on, it was so natural and lightweight of course being mink lashes, they are so soft!!!
I was so excited to try out the eyeshadow magnet which is basically an eyeshadow primer that has the same consistency and color as MAC Paint Pot in painterly. I was so impressed that I didn't have to used my NYX pencil to make the color pop and it made my shadow last at least 6hrs
I'm not a fan of orange (even though I try terribly), for me orange sort of lies in the same family as dark lippies and ally my adventures has just left me feeling weird. I love the matte texture of this lipstick and would definitely be purchasing it in other shades---for myself of course.
While transferring pictures I lost pictures of the Gel Liner pencil which is the blackest black. You know I'm always on the hunt for black pencils just in case I'm too lazy to use gel liner, the pencil is basically gel liner in pencil form--lol, as the name implies.
I'll be posting a FOTD using Pibona Cosmetics, look out for pictures of that and do comment below on what you would like to see more on this blog and I'll do my best to deliver.
Have you tried any Pibona products?? What are your thoughts??Leave a comment!
