Its way past midnight but I can't get my eyes to close and my mind has been bugging with this blog post that I've been putting off doing--maybe because it has more than one brand listed--don't want nobody thinking I'm doing a brand comparison.

While I'm still trying to deal with my jet lag, I figured I might as well put up this post I've had in my drafts for a bit. If you follow me on instagram and snapchat; you'll know I've been out of Nigeria for a couple of days.

I promised you guys a bunch of reviews and I'm keeping my word judiciously. Here's a review of the newest brand in the market proudly owned by a Nigerian and one I'm so glad to call my friend-- Funke Tonye-Preghafi of Gifty's Daughter Makeup Boutique.

I try to post pictures of products before doing the swatches of them, but I couldn't help it with my last Zaron swatch. I was really excited to try out them out and I've been in love ever since. If you missed my post on the swatches, click here. 

I'm terribly loving my new swatch techniques so much so that I 're-did' the swatches from Kayge Lipsticks which has been in my drafts for a while. I figure doing these swatches will require dedicating some time as I have to work a full face makeup to rock them.

I know I'm not the only one whose makeup antenna beeps when they hear the word SALE!!! When I hear the word, I go into the adrenaline high and my brain goes into overdrive. 

I'm back with another first impressions and review post, this time a proudly Nigerian brand and one I have reviewed before. I was so impressed when I was told that the brand worked on a couple of suggestions I made in that post which obviously made me want to try the new products. Check out my earlier review here.

The makeup fair is here again!!! And its live in the city of Lagos. For those of you who are not familiar with The Makeup Fair Series; it's the most successful event (or series of events) that has brought together makeup and beauty lovers together under one roof. The series has successfully been established in at least 5 cities with Lagos, Abuja and Owerri topping the charts and more cities in the very near future.

There are two words to describe me right now and one of them is lazy, I can't even mention the other one as it's almost the same thing as lazy. For many of you who follow me on instagram @bellezzafaces, you probably know I'm on vacation in London at the moment and believe me its a vacation in every sense of the word although I have managed to sneak in some work in between.

Its mid week already---yippee!!! The weekend is almost here and for so odd reason I'm so excited, blame it on a really slow week. I'm going to the movies later today and decided to beat my face up and do a look to inspire you for valentines day, even though we will be voting on 14th February; but I'm guessing y'all will have plans for later.

I wanted to use any color other than purple, but I just couldn't help it and kept steering back to my purple glitter. I look how the look came together so much so I'm so eager to share. I hope you enjoy creating as much as I enjoyed working on it..

I'm having a great week so far, I've been getting so many work emails and all I can say is Thank you to God and to you, a lot of the recommendations i get come from readers of this blog and all I can say is that I promise that I'll always stay true to everything you guys love about this blog.

There's just something with me and vampy lips, its not that I don't feel bold enough to wear it, I just feel weird when I have really bold lips on. I also paired this look today with a review of some of the makeup tools I got recently and decided to take pictures while using them.
