I'm having a great week so far, I've been getting so many work emails and all I can say is Thank you to God and to you, a lot of the recommendations i get come from readers of this blog and all I can say is that I promise that I'll always stay true to everything you guys love about this blog.

Hope you are having an amazing day?? So I decided to post this on quickly before I loose any nerve and chicken out on posting this look. There's just something with me and vampy lips, its not that I don't feel bold enough to wear it, I just feel weird when I have really bold lips on. I also paired this look today with a review of some of the makeup tools I got recently and decided to take pictures while using them.

Hope you've been having a great week so far?? Its mid week, so I'm sure you are looking forward to the weekend already...just a few hours and counting. For some funny reason, I'm also looking forward to the weekend...even though its going to be all work, I'm excited about it.

If you checked out my last post and saw my haul video on YouTube then you'll know about the review bag I was sent courtesy Unveil Makeup. Unveil Makeup, owned by Olubunmi Oyeniyi is one of Nigeria's foremost makeup makeup artists. I remember going through pictures of Unveil works while training to become a makeup artist, its been years and she has definitely evolved not only as a makeup artist but now she also products her line of makeup products and also carries an assortment of wedding and engagement rings.

Since I added keeping up with my YouTube channel as part of my 2015 beauty resolutions, I started taking steps no matter how small to make sure I keep up with this resolve. So I figured that instead of waiting for a full burst of confidence, I could start slowly with very familiar grounds--hauls and reviews before finally heading out to create looks.

I was tagged to do this about me post a couple of weeks ago by several people and I decided to cave in because its the beginning of the year and I also realized a couple of my readers don't know some things about me, so what better way to start a wonderful blogging year than re-introducing myself to some and anew to other.

Since my last post where I mentioned that I didn't have any set beauty resolutions for 2015, I've had to do a thorough soul searching; I know I definitely ought to drop some habits and pick up new ones. I know its not going to be easy, but no new trend ever is. I didn't have solid resolutions last year, the ones I had; looking back, were sort of on a whim. So I'm hoping that with my written down resolutions I'll be able to achieve more.

I know I'm late on celebrations and congratulating y'all on making it to 2015, but bear with me as a I make this late but yet elegant debut. So my birthday was a few days ago and even though I knew I was going to be out of town on a work trip, I still decided to have my birthday shoot, you know as a reminder of I don't know, something. I got my friend and ace photographer Lemmy of Lemmy Vedutti Studios to help with professional pictures, but I got pictures first before the shoot. Check out pictures from the shoot here.

I also decided to review the Too Faced Cat Eyes palette on myself (I've used it on clients). I was going for a pinup inspired look; without the red lip and a little darker with the eyes. I'm totally in love the palette, check out my review here.

I got these babies a while ago from Too Faced cosmetics, it was sent to me to review and somehow I ended up receiving to sets of the same products; which I gave out in a mini giveaway on instagram; BTW if you aren't following me on insatgram, well you are missing out on some pretty exciting giveaways coming really soon, so follow me on @bellezzafaces.

I promised to post details of this look, a while back and I know its taken a while but its better late than never. It was afun creating this look, as I had to choose what colors to play with and also made the bold step to make my brows thinner than I normally trim them, I must say I was really scared as I haven't had thin brows in a long time ( even then it wasn't on purpose), I love how it came out though.
