Happy new month and week!!! Hope you are having an awesome day? Mine has been pretty calm, I'm currently counting down to my next collaborative project with a makeup brand and my fingers are so itchy.

I know you'll say I'm always buying makeup...it's one of the things I can't help. I walk into a makeup shop looking for one specific item like a brush or color of glitter and end up walking out with a few items I like and end up not picking what I wanted to get in the first place.

Remember when I told you I was having a little bout of writers block?? I kinda found a cure!!! While I was researching and trying to figure out how to get over my current situation, I found a list of over 100 things to write about...trust me to get started right away!!!

I know its been a minute and I really have no excuse save for the fact that I've just been having a small phase of writers' block which thankfully is over. With the postponement of elections and that putting a clog in some of my plans for a few weeks...it really had me aiming for someone's jugular....like I said I'm fine now.

Hope you've been having a fantastic February? Personally I'm counting down till March, I think awesome things happen in March and I can't wait for the elections to be over already. I got a couple of mails regarding my last Valentine's day inspired looks and a few requests to do something more natural toned for an evening out..hence this follow up post.

Its mid week already---yippee!!! The weekend is almost here and for so odd reason I'm so excited, blame it on a really slow week. I'm going to the movies later today and decided to beat my face up and do a look to inspire you for valentines day, even though we will be voting on 14th February; but I'm guessing y'all will have plans for later.

I wanted to use any color other than purple, but I just couldn't help it and kept steering back to my purple glitter. I look how the look came together so much so I'm so eager to share. I hope you enjoy creating as much as I enjoyed working on it..

I'm having a great week so far, I've been getting so many work emails and all I can say is Thank you to God and to you, a lot of the recommendations i get come from readers of this blog and all I can say is that I promise that I'll always stay true to everything you guys love about this blog.

Hope you are having an amazing day?? So I decided to post this on quickly before I loose any nerve and chicken out on posting this look. There's just something with me and vampy lips, its not that I don't feel bold enough to wear it, I just feel weird when I have really bold lips on. I also paired this look today with a review of some of the makeup tools I got recently and decided to take pictures while using them.

Unveil Makeup, owned by Olubunmi Oyeniyi is one of Nigeria's foremost makeup makeup artists. I remember going through pictures of Unveil works while training to become a makeup artist, its been years and she has definitely evolved not only as a makeup artist but now she also products her line of makeup products and also carries an assortment of wedding and engagement rings.

Since I added keeping up with my YouTube channel as part of my 2015 beauty resolutions, I started taking steps no matter how small to make sure I keep up with this resolve. So I figured that instead of waiting for a full burst of confidence, I could start slowly with very familiar grounds--hauls and reviews before finally heading out to create looks.
