Review: Arike Magic Mascara

4:10 PM

Hey Bellas,

How are you doing? Hope you are having a swell weekend???!!!

Very recently I acquired a few makeup products and really have been impressed with them. And funny they are all makeup brands owned by Nigerians!! This means that you don’t have to look too far beyond the shores of this country to get quality makeup products. We have amazing entrepreneurs with amazing visions to take the Nigerian Beauty Industry to the next level. I’m not saying that you can’t buy foreign products, but let’s have a spirit of patriotism and let the foreign brands buy us!!!(**wide grin**)
Arike Magic Mascara

Today’s review product is by a brand called Arike. It’s a name from the Yoruba tribe which is translated to mean seen to care(my Yoruba is very rusty). The Arike Magic Mascara is really true to its name…Magic! It’s truly amazing!!! I’ve never seen mascara that performs so remarkably amazing...seriously.
The mascara comes in a duo and they have to be used together for best results; the lash conditioning mascara and the Fibre mascara. There are directions for use behind the pack of the mascara

Package opened..
Voila!!!
Lash Conditioning Mascara

Fibre Mascara
.
How to use:
  • Start by using the Lash Conditioning Mascara
  • Follow by a coat of the Fibre Mascara
  • You can continue the process up to 4/5 times for amazing results, but by the first coat you’ll see the magic.
I love the package of the mascara as it looks like some wrist watch/ jewelry box in my makeup purse.

Using Arike Mascara..

I would personally recommend this mascara to anyone with extremely short lashes…however you might have some trouble if you have tightly curled lashes.

The mascara retails for N2,500 (approx. $25) which is a good price considering the value it gives.
