Review: Zaron Makeup

How are you doing and how did your weekend go? Hope you're ready for the new week...I know what I'm gonna be doing this week…work and school!!! Yeah…you got it right..school!!! Oh....the life of a MUA/student!!
Very recently I was sent a goodie bag courtesy Zaron Makeup. I was pretty excited to get the goodie bag because I've seen and heard of Zaron but never actually used the products. So my goodie bag was picked up from Zaron office in VI by my baby sister, Jade and was sent to me by my mummy (yeah I know....mummy's girl).
So the bag contained a total of 14 items;
- Concealer + Foundation on One (5)
- Luxurious Lip Gloss (1)
- Lip Liner pencil (1)
- Ultrashine Lip Gloss (1)
- XXL Volumizing Mascara (1),
- Eyeshadow + Blush Duo Palette (1)
- Oil Control Mineral Loose Powder (1)
- Eyebrow definer (1)
- Baked Eyeshadow Trio (1)
- Travel size brush set (1)
So I’ve tried some of the product that I was sent and I must confess I’m very impressed with 4 main items; the eyeshadows, blush, loose powder and lip glosses. Another product that really awesome; is the lip liner pencil, its soft and easy to blend and doesn’t cake on the lips. I had on the lip products and I didn’t have to touch up all day!!
The Concealer + Foundation in one is really a bother because it’s very hard, I tried using it and it just wouldn't blend out. Would stick to using it as an under eye concealer.
I’m yet to use the brushes, however they are very soft to touch but the bristles pull out ever so often. What I did was to pull out every loose bristle and do a quick wash…so I’m gonna let you know when the brushes are dry.
The products are very affordable and retail prices range from 850naira(pencils) to 2350naira(powder).
