5 Brush Faves---I
2:34 PM
Hola Bellas,
How are you doing? Hope you are
having an awesome weekend? Mine is pretty quiet though I still can’t figure out
why I’m not getting enough sleep---I need serious help!!!
A couple of posts ago I started a
series on my favorite products where I feature 5 items from different categories;
I already did the first one on makeup; if you missed that post click here.
My brushes are my most powerful
weapons of warfare (yeah, beauty is war); getting the right brushes for your
makeup application and knowing how to use them, will not only make you makeup
flawless, but excellent at the same time.
I have a couple of brushes that I
just can’t do without and I’ve even gotten imitations of them, but my top 5
fave brushes are;
- Khuraira C107 Powder Dome Brush
- McCoy Beauty Angled Kabuki Brush
- Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush
- MakeupPro Detail Brush
- C220 LG Angle Fluff Brush
I’ve had the Khuraira Powder
brush for quite a while now and I’m still yet to find the perfect replacement
for it. It’s super soft and very large. It’s quite pricey but the quality
speaks louder than the price.
My McCoy Angled Kabuki brush is
my newest baby; it’s amazingly soft and perfect for foundation and powder
application. I have this brush in 4 shapes; flat, rounded, angled and pointed
and my favorite is the angled kabuki. While applying products, it reaches those
hard to reach corners and application looks airbrushed.
I have abused the purpose of this
brush, the Real Techniques Base Shadow brush is intended to be for applying eyeshadow
base, but I use it as a contour and eyeshadow brush. I’m addicted to using this
brush now, thank God for some functions it can’t perform.
The MakeupPro Detail brush is
performs one of those little functions that the real techniques base shadow
brush doesn’t perform for me; it reaches the inner corner of my eyes and I can
add that extra detail to my eye looks.
My Khuraira LG Angle Fluff brush
is the fairest of them all!!! I have a certain love for angled brushes and this
baby is one of them. I use this brush to blend harsh edges in my contour when
doing a dark look (which happens to be very often---I wonder what’s the
connection?)
Do you have any of these brushes?
What are you thoughts? Look out for more of my top 5 fave products.
Muchos love,
