Hola Bellas,

I promised to fill you in on all that has been happening and I thought the first order just had to be the second Abuja Beauty Connect series which took place on 13th October and it was really a fun and educative experience for me. Not only did I get to learn and share but I also got to mingle with my colleagues. To view pictures and gist on the first Abuja Beauty Connect, click here.

Miss Omolola Faleye of Pops Concepts
Its no news now that Abuja Beauty professionals just love to have fun and its never a dull moment around us especially when Pops Concepts organizes a no-holds-barred session where you can speak on what bothers you and how you can improve yourself.

Highlights of the events include a talk by Miss Omolola Faleye (convener) on how to improve and move the Nigerian Beauty Industry forward with special attention to making the industry more professional in customer relations and also actual makeup applications. Extras such as invoice preparations, receipts and also preparing contracts for prospective clients. Also, some personal issues were addressed such as personal development, mentorship/mentoring and how to accept and make the best of objective criticism.

There was also a short presentation on using social media to improve and develop business by Mrs Nneka of Vennusbay. Various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, BBM, Instagram and so much more were discussed.

Of course I have loads of pictures to make you absolutely green with envy....
