FOTD: Glitter and Sparkle

I'm so excited about today's post. I almost didn't put this look together because my schedule got so hectic; but an hour before closing time, I decided to stick to what I had planned to do at the beginning of the day--determination, I guess.
I totally love the final outcome and I didn't look as tired as I though I did. This look is many firsts for me as I totally tried full glitter on my eyelids!!! I decided to keep the lips really muted because I have fever blisters on my lower lip, although I do wish I could have tried something more dramatic.
This look is not for the faint hearted as the glitter gets you noticed from a distance. You might want to try less glitter if you don't feel bold enough to try this look.

As always I did my brows first using Jordana Brow Pencil and highlighted using Khuraira Camouflage Concealer in #2B; I then primed my lid with NYX JEP in Milk. Using a pointed tip blending brush, I applied Cocoa from the Smashbox Set into the V of my crease and blended it towards by brow bone. I applied the vibrant Gold onto three quarters my lid and applied Bronze as a transition color to the matte black that I added at the outer corner of the lid. Using a small detail brush I applied Cocoa into my crease to create a somewhat cut crease effect. Priming my brush with Inglot Duraline, I applied NYX Glitter in Hot Gold generously all over the area where I had applied the Smashbox Gold color.
I used Jordana liquid liner to line my upper lid (liquid liner is best when working with glitter), I applied L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara on my lashes and added Red Cherry #43 lashes, I then lined my water line using Iglost AMC gel liner #77 and also applied mascara on my bottom lashes.
On my face, I startd by applying LA Girl HD Concealer to my under eye area using real technique brush and blended it all the way to my upper cheek and then applied Ben Nye Banana Powder to set the highlight. I then applied Khuraira HD foundation on the rest of face but feathered just a little to where I had applied the concealer. I contoured my face using Maybelline Clear and Smooth in Cacao; I did the same for my nose and applied Coastal Scents blush and Jordana bronzer on the highest point of my cheeks and my nose bridge.
I went really simple on the lips an applied MaxFactor lipstick in Stardust Pink and lined with Zaron lip liner in Clay Pot and topped of with Jordan squeeze and shine lipgloss.
I love the glitter ans sparkle of the entire look and will definitely be doing more looks using glitters and also pigments. I really do love hearing from you, so please drop your comments, ideas and obersvations in the comment box below.
