Hola Bellas,

I've been gone for so long that some readers didn't even email me!!! They figured getting posts required phone calls. I'm so sorry for getting missing these past few days, with training classes, bridal bookings, and naughty matters I got swamped!!!

I've got great news for you so stay tuned till the end of this very long long post.

The 4th Abuja Makeup Fair took place on 23rd August 2014, and though I was a couple of hours late (my intention was to be the first at the venue), I had an amazing time at the fair. I think its probably my best fair ever!!! I got to meet a lot of people, shop and just kid around with friends!!! I even got a fake proposal from Godfrey of GI Models....that was too expensive a joke though!!!

The fair took place at a new venue which was bigger and much nicer than where the previous ones had held and I had to ask Madam Lola on the side if the location was gonna change and she said AMUF was gonna hold at the new venue for a long while!!!

There were a couple of new exhibitors and makeup studios at the fair like: Talking Faces, Jedy Tee Makeup Studio, Yazi's Place, Mascoteda Makeup Studio, Shades and Sparkles, Ad Visages, Maramma and many others; and also our usual suspects Gifty's Daughter, House of Tara, Haute Beauty World, Sleek Studio, Hegai and Esther, Bariats Brushstrokes, Working Hands amongst others; a few of them came in from Lagos and beyond

I can't stress how much fun I had at the makeup fair. I shopped till I just couldn't take the stress on my card anymore(and my phone kept buzzing with all the alerts!!!)

Thank you to all my readers who painstakingly called me to track my exact location at the fair and gladly took pictures with me...it was a honor to meet you guys!!!

The Makeup Fair series is moving to the next stop and for the first time the Coal City state; Enugu will be hosting the next edition. SO if you are in Enugu or neighboring cities; look out for posts and invites for the next makeup fair.

I promised that I had good news!!! I'm glad to announce that this blog as been chosen to be one of the official bloggers for the Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week. I'll basically be talking all things includes Maybelline New York/Nigeria as you know Aunty Bimpe Onakoya will be backstage at the event. I'm indeed honored to be a part of it.

Also noteworthy is the new look of my studio space which means that for my makeup looks and product hauls, there's a new look. So here's a sneak peak of the new studio space. I hope you like?
